This e-Participation policy aims to initiate the culture and practices of e-participation in order to improve transparency and public participation in improving the services quality of the Education Service Commission (ESC). ESC always recognizes public involvement to enable the Department to explore a broader perspective, potential sources of information and solutions to improve results and services. It also provides the basis for a productive relationship, better dialogues and discussions as well as an organised governance.
The objectives of e-Participation is to involve the people in the policy development and decision making process through the use of information and communication technologies. 5. | When are vacancies advertised? | ESC does not advertise job vacancies in newspapers or other mass media. ESC publishes advertisements all the time on our portal and applications can be opened directly at https://myspp.spp.gov.my. Therefore, applicants can also check the intended information as well as other matters related to it and they can apply for the positions of interest that suit their qualifications. Applications can be made at any time throughout the year. However, the publication of advertisements can also be done by ESC at any time as appropriate based on the needs of the recruitment of certain positions. | |
6. | Do I need to send biodata/personal information (resume) to apply for a position at ESC? | No. Applicants are only required to fill in carefully and perfectly all the information required in the application form. However, documents containing that information as well as other relevant documents must be brought on the day of the interview. | |
7. | Why do I need to renew / update the application/registration? | Every registration needs to be renewed/updated even if the applicant has never been called for an examination or interview within one (1) year. This allow ESC to obtain and store the latest information of applicants who are really interested in the ESC data bank. In addition, it also prevents applicants from missing the opportunity to be considered for an interview call due to the validity period of registration having expired after a period of one (1) year. |
