STAFFThe Education Service Commission is the Appointing Authority responsible for appointing Education Service Members into the public service. Appointments are subject to vacancies and applications are open at all times via MySPP for the following posts:

| 1. | Member of the Implementing Group (AKP) Grade 1 | Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Education Malaysia | 1. Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Qualification as a Condition for Appointment in the Public Service a) For the purpose of appointment to public service posts, which require entry qualifications at the SPM level, candidates must meet the following minimum SPM requirements: i) two (2) subjects including Malay Language at the Honours level and four (4) other subjects at the Pass level in one SPM examination; or b) In addition, there are certain service schemes that require Honours/Passes in certain subjects other than the requirement to meet the eligibility requirements such as 1(a)(i) and 1(a)(ii) above. 2. Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) Qualification as a Condition for Appointment in the Public Service a) For the purpose of appointment to civil service posts that require entry qualifications at the SVM level, candidates must meet the following minimum SVM requirements: i) Malay Language subject (code 1104) at Honours level (at least Grade C); and ii) SVM qualification in the relevant field according to the terms of the service scheme. b) The list of courses suitable for appointment to positions that require SVM can be referred at the following link: List of SVM Courses3. Malay Language Eligibility Requirements Candidates for appointment must possess Honours (at least Grade C) in the subject of Malay Language at the SPM/SVM level or an equivalent approval recognised by the Government. 4.
